In this feudal Japanese setting, players assume the role of a young samurai warrior tasked with defending a sacred dojo temple from relentless adversaries. Armed with a katana, the protagonist must navigate through combat-focused levels, timing strikes and acrobatic evasions to outmaneuver opponents who attack from various angles—including robed enemies descending from above. Progressing through the dojo's gauntlet of increasingly dangerous foes demands mastery of both blade work and movement, as the samurai strives to uphold the principles of Bushido while safeguarding the temple from those who would breach its walls.
