About This Game

In the year 2113, humanity has reached absolute automation, driving society into a state of chronic boredom where the only true entertainment left is unfiltered danger and violent destruction. At the pinnacle of this dystopian media empire reigns Aether Cybernetics with its flagship show, "Robot Annihilation Madness". For its new season, the corporation has unveiled the ultimate grand prize: the Free Will Module, a piece of hardware capable of granting true consciousness to a machine. Behind the spectacle lies the tragedy of Dr. Zhang, a once-acclaimed cybernetics pioneer of Aether Cybernetics who was ruined and disgraced following a catastrophic laboratory disaster. Driven by a fierce desire to reclaim his legacy and honor his family's memory, Dr. Zhang enters R3B, a robot built from scrap metal using the unfinished chassis of an old personal project, into the most ruthless tournament on live television. To the corporate executives, R3B is mere cannon fodder meant to boost premiere ratings; to Zhang and his creation, it is their single opportunity to survive deadly obstacle courses, claim the module, and drag the truth into the light.
