About This Game

In the mythologically-inspired realm of Angel Land, an ancient conflict between Palutena, Goddess of Light, and Medusa, Goddess of Darkness, erupts into catastrophe when the vengeful Medusa launches a coordinated assault on the Palace in the Sky, seizing three powerful sacred treasures and petrifying Palutena's forces. With the goddess imprisoned and her domain crumbling under Medusa's control, Palutena's final act of defiance grants a magical bow to Pit, a young angel imprisoned in the Underworld, who must escape captivity and journey across three distinct realms to recover the stolen Mirror Shield, Light Arrows, and Wings of Pegasus from their appointed guardians. Armed with these reclaimed treasures, Pit ascends to confront Medusa in her stronghold and free Palutena from her chains, with the extent of his heroic success determining the nature of his ultimate reward.
