About This Game

John Rambo receives word that Colonel Trautman, his former commanding officer and trusted ally, has been captured by Soviet forces while delivering weapons to Afghan resistance fighters in a dangerous covert operation. With the U.S. government unwilling to risk diplomatic fallout by launching an official rescue, Rambo becomes the Colonel's only hope for escape from a brutal prison compound deep in the war-ravaged Afghan interior. Armed with seized weaponry and explosives, Rambo undertakes a perilous solo assault across hostile terrain—from occupied villages to remote mountain strongholds—battling through overwhelming opposition to liberate his friend, aid the local insurgents, and navigate his way out of enemy territory.
