Journey to Silius
Journey to Silius, known in Japan as RAF World, is a side-scrolling run and gun video game developed by Tokai Engineering and published by Sunsoft for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990.
Journey to Silius was originally based on the 1984 film The Terminator, but the licensing rights to the film were lost during development. As a result, the graphics and storyline were altered to accommodate this change, but remnants of the earlier version still remain in the game. For example, the final boss has a striking resemblance to the titular terminator in the film.

In the late 34th century, Earth's overcrowded population has turned to space colonies as a solution, with Jay McCray preparing to join his father's groundbreaking settlement project in the distant Silius Solar System. When terrorists obliterate the orbital station and kill the entire research team, Jay inherits far more than grief—he recovers a hidden disk containing his father's final message and the complete blueprints for the colony, along with a dying request to finish what the terrorists tried to destroy. Driven by both filial duty and a thirst for vengeance, Jay embarks on a dangerous mission to track down those responsible for the catastrophe while safeguarding humanity's hopes for expansion beyond Earth.
