The Simpsons: Bart vs. the World
The Simpsons: Bart vs. the World is a side-scrolling platform that compiles smaller games belonging to different genres. In each stage, Bart must navigate through the area, collecting items such as firecracker balls for self-defense and Squishees to restore health By grabbing a cape, Bart can become his superheroic alter-ego, Bartman, and fly for limited periods. The most important items in each stage are Krusty-brand souvenirs. There is one in every stage, and Bart must find them all in order to get the best ending. There are also several mini-games in each area, with puzzles such as a matching-card game and a trivia game based on events in actual episodes.

About This Game
Bart Simpson's lucky win on the Krusty the Clown Show—a chance to compete in a globe-spanning scavenger hunt—turns out to be anything but fortunate when Mr. Burns orchestrates the entire contest as an elaborate trap. Seeking revenge for years of misadventures caused by the Simpson family, Burns enlists his loyal aide Smithers to rig the competition, then deploys his own agents and family members to sabotage Bart's journey across real-world destinations. As Bart races to collect scavenger hunt items while navigating this hostile adventure, he occasionally reunites with other members of his family, all while unknowingly caught in Burns' scheme to finally be rid of his longtime nemesis.
