About This Game

A nameless wanderer returns to his hometown of Eolis only to discover it ravaged and nearly deserted, with hostile Dwarves laying siege to the settlement. The Elven king reveals a catastrophic truth: the magical fountain sustaining their people has run dry, and an ancient evil summoned by a fallen meteorite has corrupted the Dwarves, enslaving them and turning them into monsters against their will. To save both races, the protagonist must track down the source of this calamity and recover a legendary sword—one that the Dwarf King Grieve swallowed and hid within himself before his transformation, the only weapon capable of vanquishing the Evil One. His quest spans four distinct realms within and around the World Tree itself, from its sprawling root system to its highest branches and finally into the Dwarves' mountainous fortress, armed only with initial provisions and the hope of restoring balance to a fractured world.
