About This Game

The story kicks off when a meteor crashes to Earth near the home of a boy named Ness, who sets out to investigate. At the crash site he runs into a police roadblock and his neighbor Pokey Minch, who tells him to head home. Later that night Pokey turns up at Ness's door, desperate for help finding his missing brother Picky. The boys discover Picky asleep behind a tree near the meteor, and there the three meet an insect from the future named Buzz Buzz, who warns that in his time the "universal cosmic destroyer," Giygas, has conquered the planet. Sensing great potential in Ness, Buzz Buzz sends him on a journey to seek out and record the melodies of eight "sanctuaries," unite his own powers with those of the Earth, and grow strong enough to face Giygas.
