About This Game

Max is a guitarist with a problem: the evil villain Krond has announced his intention to ban all music from the world, and Max intends to stop him. Monster Max is an isometric action-adventure for the Game Boy, structured across 29 levels that task the player with solving puzzles, navigating obstacles, collecting objects, and defeating opponents. Tools available include bombs (usable as weapons and to open blocked or hidden passages), a bag for managing collected items, and a force shield for enemy encounters. Completing levels earns credits that unlock new regions of the overworld, the Mega Hero Academy.
