About This Game

Adapted from the 1994 film, the game puts players in control of Frankenstein's creature as he rampages through the streets of Ingolstadt, Bavaria, in 1793, seeking out the man named Victor who created and then abandoned him. Ordinary townspeople—too ignorant of modern science to see anything but a demon—attack him at every turn. The game follows the film's major beats but diverges in places: Elizabeth's death scene is removed, though her grotesque resurrection as an abomination remains and she appears as a boss who perishes in a fire.
