Gensei Kitan: Disc Saga III
The player navigates Smash and his friends through top-down locations, talking to people and fighting randomly appearing enemies in hostile areas. The turn-based battles are viewed from a side perspective. Characters can execute various "techniques", which deplete TP (technique points), or magic spells.

A fighter named Smash of the Dog Tribe boards a train back to his hometown after a long absence, only to find that the Elder has been kidnapped by a band of demons. After staging a rescue, Smash learns that a carefully guarded secret treasure—protected jointly by several animal Tribes—is now in serious danger. Joined by Kiri, a quick-tongued messenger of the Fox Tribe who also plays guitar, and other companions gathered along the way, Smash sets out across a world that blends medieval fantasy with steam-punk machinery to confront the threat facing them all.
