A multimedia adventure that blends full-motion video footage from the Gakkou no Kaidan film with pixel-art overlays that signal when player input is needed. Players navigate the haunted schoolhouse as one of the children, pressing directional keys at critical moments to keep the story moving. Health is shown as a flame on screen, while a Haniwa statue—a clay artifact with funerary origins—tracks puzzle pieces collected throughout the school amid clues, enemies, and health pickups.
