The Firemen 2: Pete & Danny

Firemen Pete Grey and Danny McClean spend their days protecting New York City from fires, but their Christmas Eve shift turns into something far more dangerous than a routine call. Directed remotely by their station correspondent Winona, Pete and Danny must fan out across the city to track down and extinguish a series of mysterious fires breaking out without obvious cause. The game plays in a top-down shooter style similar to Commando or Contra, but hoses replace guns and fire replaces enemy soldiers. The locations they visit range from a theme park and a giant aquarium to a hotel and an animatronic dinosaur exhibit, with missions that include rescuing Pete's daughter caught in one of the blazes and saving the penguins at a zoo before the flames reach them.
