Elevator Action Returns, also known as Elevator Action II, is a 1994 run and gun arcade game developed and published by Taito. It is the sequel to Elevator Action (1983), featuring a much more gritty and realistic setting. About This Game

Three agents—Kart Bradfield, Edie Burrett, and Jad the Taff—infiltrate six buildings to recover computer data hidden behind red-marked doors. The mission follows an updated version of the original Elevator Action format: use elevators to move between floors, shoot barrels and enemies, avoid security cameras that trigger alarms when they spot you, and manage a strict time limit before each building self-destructs. Blue doors offer a chance at health, weapons, or point bonuses from a spinning wheel. Each agent brings different weapons and strengths to the assignment.
