Battle of the Eras

By the year 80,000 AD, humanity has reached the apex of its evolution — and immediately begins to fall backward. Desperate attempts by scientists to transcend physical form have accidentally introduced mutations into the gene pool, leaving most of the species mentally diminished. Among the few researchers sharp enough to press on is Temporus, who responds to the crisis in an unorthodox way: he pulls some of history's greatest warriors across time and pits them against each other in a grand tournament to determine whether humanity deserves to be saved. The player masters one of five fighters, each with unique strengths, weaknesses, and attack ranges. There is only one attempt to reach the top — no second chances.
