Wrath of Earth

Wrath of Earth

Released1995
Wrath of Earth is a first-person shooter that incorporates traditional action-oriented mechanics with tactical decisions and interaction with the environment. The protagonist is often underpowered, and running for cover to gain advantage over the foes is sometimes the only way to survive. The player character's exoskeleton can recharge its power and repair itself using energy from a light source, effectively healing the protagonist. Stepping out of the darkness to recharge becomes therefore another tactical alternative.

About This Game

After centuries of Galactic War, the great powers of the universe agreed that Earth should serve as the home base of their peacekeeping organization, the United Worlds. Among the far-flung colonies that came under this arrangement was the planet Aragon — until contact was lost. The last signal from Aragon arrived two standard days ago, but cross-galaxy communication delays mean the planet has been effectively isolated for five years. Commander Kreigson of the small recon vessel Wrath is ordered to approach Aragon carefully and assess the situation. He lands wearing the latest automated Bio-Tech suit, and immediately senses that whatever seized control of Aragon did not originate from this galaxy.
