In the second in the "What the heck will Elroy do next" adventure series, Elroy's dog Blue has been kidnapped by a criminal gang. They've also stolen his school science project, the Canine Revitalizer. If his friend Sydney and he don't find it and hand it in, they'll get sent to Summer school.

Elroy and his friend Syd have just finished building their science project, a machine called the Canine Revitalizer, when they discover both the machine and Elroy's dog Blue have vanished. The culprit is an underground crime club, which has stolen both the dog and the invention. Now Elroy has a race against the clock: find Blue and recover the Canine Revitalizer before the day is through.
