About This Game

Building on Super Nazo Puyo: Rulue no Roux, this sequel challenges players with a range of Puyo Puyo puzzle objectives: clear all Puyo of a specific color, eliminate every Nuisance Puyo, build a chain of a required length, clear a set number at once, or clear the entire board. Every failed attempt costs health, visually tracked through Rulue's expressions and a Puyo indicator gradually sinking below the line. A gauge fills with each cleared puzzle and fully restores health once complete. At game over, players can restart from the last NPC they spoke to. The biggest change from its predecessor is structural: this entry wraps the puzzle stages in an RPG-style overworld with six major locations, NPC quests, and items to collect, making the experience considerably less linear. Saving now happens manually through the menu, where the first game saved automatically.
