About This Game

Hedei is on a date in Shibuya when a demon kills him. He does not stay entirely dead: his consciousness persists, and he discovers he can move between the living world and the spiritual plane that overlaps it. This ability — forced on him by his murder — becomes the tool he uses to investigate what is happening to the neighborhood. Demons have taken hold of Shibuya and are targeting more people. Hedei hunts them through both the physical streets and the shadowed spiritual realm, working toward a confrontation with the demon Megiddo — the entity that killed him and is driving the others. Based on the light novel series by Aya Nishitani, the author whose Digital Devil Story novels formed the genesis of the Megami Tensei franchise, the game branches to multiple endings depending on choices made throughout the investigation.
