About This Game

A modern Chinese teenager who spends his free time playing RPGs wakes up one day in an unfamiliar old house, dressed in ancient clothing. The situation quickly becomes clear: he has been selected to participate in the ultimate virtual reality experience—a fully immersive RPG set in medieval China where everything looks and feels completely real. He is not the first. Thirty years earlier, another modern-day player entered this world and, before vanishing mysteriously, wrote fourteen books. Those books now sit at the center of a fierce dispute between competing schools of martial arts, each convinced the texts contain secrets vital to their tradition. Recovering the books may be the only way back home—which means navigating a world of real swords, real danger, and very real consequences.
