Gubble

Gubble is an alien with a very particular talent: loosening fasteners. Screws, nails, rivets, bolts — his species has an unusual proficiency with anything designed to hold two things together, and his captors found this skill useful enough to kidnap him and transport him to a hostile planet with a large enemy ship that needs to be systematically unfastened. The offer is straightforward: do the job and go home. The catch is that the planet is hostile in the way its name implies, and the ship's defenses have not been switched off.
