Blast Wind

The nuclear shockwave spared almost no one. A man named Noa foresaw the catastrophe, built the Ark, and gathered survivors aboard it. When the radiation cleared, humanity emerged to begin again. The civilization they built was peaceful until Gorn appeared — a society of machines and artificial intelligence sealed underground during the nuclear winter, which surfaced when it detected human activity above. Gorn does not negotiate. Humanity's response reaches into the ruins of the old world and recovers ancient weapons capable of damaging what Gorn has built. The two ultimate weapons — Kyō and Forn, paired destroyers — carry the weight of the final confrontation.
