William Shakespeare's Hamlet: A Murder Mystery

William Shakespeare's Hamlet: A Murder Mystery

Released1997
As Hamlet, your task is to kill the murderer but to prevent the deaths of innocents. That provides an interesting take on original play giving the ability to change the course of events and save some important characters. That includes actually killing rats instead of Polonius and saving Ophelia from madness and ultimate death.

About This Game

Young Hamlet has inherited a kingdom that should be his — but first someone got to his father. He enters the court of Elsinore Palace carrying two purposes simultaneously: grieve the loss and investigate the murder. The corruption that has settled over Denmark did not arrive by accident, and the architect of it is watching the new king's every move. Clues are distributed through the court, and Hamlet must collect them carefully enough to build a case without signaling how close he is getting to the truth.
