Haruhiko Shimotsuki accepts a temporary position teaching art at a prestigious girls' school — a placement that puts him in the same building as Chitose, the younger sister of his ex-girlfriend Mariko Misawa. The connection to Mariko was not anticipated when Haruhiko took the job. The feelings he begins to develop for Chitose are even less anticipated.
