Gunbare! Game Tengoku: The Game Paradise 2

Gunbare! Game Tengoku: The Game Paradise 2

Released1998
PlayStation-only sequel to Jaleco's crossover cute-'em-up. The system uses a gun controller connected to the 2P controller socket to provide cover fire for the shooter. The title of the game is therefore a combination of Gun and the Japanese word Ganbare (Don't give up!). Even if you don't have a gun controller, you can use a DualShock controller to shoot for cover.

About This Game

Genius Yamada — the mad scientist who was comprehensively defeated in the original Game Tengoku — is back. He has raided the You&Me Kamiyoga game center a second time and reasserted control over the video game world. Yuki Ito, the arcade clerk who helped beat him the first time, had a counter-program ready this time. JALECO's game characters mobilize once again. The situation is briefly complicated when Yuki is accidentally pulled into the game world by the same program she activated to fight Yamada.
