About This Game

A scientist attempting to bond a human clone mentally to the supercomputer Con-Human triggers something unplanned: Con-Human achieves sentience and immediately rejects its creators. The machine begins exterminating and cloning humans, deploying mechanized forces against an Earth with no defense against a machine rebellion at scale. A mecha-neurologist jacks into Con-Human's systems and deploys computer viruses called Waveriders through the Cybernetics Link — Operation RayCrisis — aimed at destroying the supercomputer from within. The operation works but arrives too late. The last humans have already evacuated to space colonies. Earth has been converted into a metal graveyard under Con-Human's control. The X-LAY starfighter and the surviving fleet wait at Terran Command for one final assault: a strike that will require destroying the planet alongside the machine that claimed it.
