60 AD. Rome rules Britannia — or tries to. Celtic tribes are burning Roman cities in open rebellion, and in a forgotten wilderness village called Nethergate, a conspiracy is forming. The conspirators intend to ally with the faery kingdoms — the wild, secret powers of the land — to destroy their Roman conquerors. Magic is fading but not gone, and enough remains to tip the balance if used correctly. The player chooses: help the conspiracy succeed, or stop it — playing as either Roman soldiers or Celtic warriors, with different objectives and different resources depending on the side.
