Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike

3rd Strike picks up after the events of 2nd Impact and the conclusion of the third World Warrior Tournament, weaving together a handful of pivotal clashes. Ryu decisively defeats the newcomer Alex, leaving him obsessed with a rematch and with becoming a stronger fighter. Ryu and Ken face off once more, with Ryu again narrowly besting his old friend and hailing him as his worthiest rival. Chun-Li demands the return of a kidnapped child from Urien, who agrees on the condition that she give him an entertaining match — and though the official victor is unclear, the child's safe return implies she won. Learning that Necro and his companion Effie survived 2nd Impact, Gill or Urien orders Necro's successor, Twelve, to hunt them down; the outcome is left ambiguous, but Necro's ending suggests the pair survived, while Twelve is returned to Dr. Woo's lab, his hollow eyes gaining red irises in a hint that he has attained sentience. And Akuma and Oro, having fought to a standstill, agree to break off their duel, both sensing that to continue would mean their mutual death.
