With Megatron captured and the Beast Wars apparently ended, the Maximals are heading back to Cybertron. Before they arrive, the captive Megatron manages to send a transwarp message back to his earlier self — warning him of his own defeat. The message changes history before it even arrives: some Maximals and Predacons have already gained powerful Transmetal forms as the timeline begins to diverge. How far the rewritten history will depart from the original course, and what the altered future will look like, remains for the game to determine.
