Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals

Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals presents an alternate version of the cartoon's second season in which additional characters have gained Transmetal forms. The PlayStation version tells two separate faction stories with distinct endings, while the Nintendo 64 version uses character-specific endings. In the Maximal story, Optimus Primal takes advantage of a Predacon attack on the Axalon to mount a counteroffensive — leading Cheetor, Silverbolt, and Rattrap to the Darkside to defeat the attackers and seize the Golden Disk while Rhinox guards the ship. After defeating Megatron on the Darkside's bridge, the Maximals discover that the remaining Predacons used their absence to infiltrate the Axalon. In the Predacon story, Megatron lures the Maximals to the Darkside while Blackarachnia and Waspinator move to draw out the remaining Maximals from the Axalon. Megatron's team pursues Primal's group all the way back to the Axalon, where they appear to win — until Rhinox activates Sentinel's auto-guns and turns the tide, forcing the Predacons to retreat.
