This collection gathers two Princess Maker titles. In Princess Maker 2, a celebrated War Hero raises a young girl from childhood to age 18; her choice of profession, her talent for it, her marriage prospects, and her overall happiness all depend entirely on how the player guides her development over those years. In Princess Maker 3, a young fairy deeply wants to become a human princess. The player's job is to help her reach adulthood, with the player's chosen occupation — one of six, ranging from Merchant to Bard to Retired Knight — establishing the opening social status and wage. Everything said and done throughout the game shapes the daughter's attitude, which can range from happy through spoiled, worried, or average. Sixty distinct endings branch across the two games, including conventional outcomes like General and Hero as well as offbeat conclusions like Gambler and several "magical" princess variations.
