About This Game

Super Robot Taisen Alpha for Dreamcast opens in New AD 179, when an enormous alien spacecraft crashes to Earth without warning. The event shatters humanity's assumption that they were alone in the universe. The wreckage is salvaged and meticulously studied — its technology reverse-engineered and ultimately integrated into the construction of a massive vessel, the SDF Macross, built as humanity's flagship defense against threats from beyond the planet. Eight years later, that preparation is put to the test when the Neo Zeon Army launches a full-scale assault on Earth.
