Super Tokusatsu Taisen 2001

Super Tokusatsu Taisen 2001 opens with a discovery that unsettles the entire solar system: a tenth planet materializes beyond Pluto, designated simply Number Ten. Earth launches investigation after investigation, but the planet resists all analysis. Bracing for the worst, the United Nations establishes two defensive organizations — the Terrestrial Defense Force, or TDF, to protect Earth's immediate space, and the Space Investigation and Defense Organization, or SIDO, to monitor the outer solar system. SIDO dispatches the state-of-the-art space fortress Nagar on a covert reconnaissance mission toward Number Ten — and loses all contact with it. Three years later, Number Ten vanishes as suddenly as it arrived, leaving scientists without answers and the solar system on edge. With alien threats showing no sign of relenting, TDF and SIDO are merged under a unified command to consolidate Earth's defenses. The external threat, however, may no longer be the only one. Humanity has not yet perceived that something far closer to home has already begun to stir — and twelve years of escalating crisis still lie ahead.
