Rasetsu

Released2001
Rasetsu is a real time strategy with RPG elements that was released in 2001 for Microsoft Windows 98. It plays similarly to any other real-time strategy title with an isometric view and common point-and-click interface, and also toting somewhat of a Front Mission-esque as you'll often find yourself switching over from battles to intermissions (where you'll be able to talk to characters) and so on. The game features a techno soundtrack.

About This Game

Rasetsu is set in a future where humanity's expansion beyond Earth has fractured into open warfare. Two dominant powers have emerged from the conflict: the Governing Galactic Federation of Earth and the Dick Planetary Alliance. The war between them has stretched on for years, and the toll on civilization has been severe. You lead a mercenary guild operating in this volatile space, accepting contracts from whichever faction offers better terms. Loyalty here is a commodity, and survival depends on reading which jobs to take and when to walk away.
