The Crystal of Kings
The Crystal of Kings is an extremely rare arcade scrolling fighter developed by BrezzaSoft. It boasts very high-quality pre-rendered graphics, and a morality system that determines whether you get a good, neutral, or bad ending. Unfortunately, the gameplay is far behind the curve, resembling Golden Axe more than advanced brawlers such as Guardian Heroes or Gaia Crusaders.

Long ago, the kings of the land wielded crystals — artifacts of power rivaling the gods themselves. One king, Nightspirit, grew drunk on his crystal's strength. Calling himself the Crystal of Kings, he unleashed a monstrous army to seize every crystal in existence. The aging king of Estorea, unable to stand against him, entrusted his kingdom's crystal to his loyal knight Cocco — and begged him to find allies among the other kingdoms' warriors and bring Nightspirit down.
