Sweet Season

Yoshinori Asamiya is a high school freshman in the shogi club. Walking home one day, he meets a girl he has never seen before — she is from a different school, also in a shogi club, and she is walking her dog. Her name is Ayumi Jinguuji. The connection is slow and awkward at first, but Ayumi gradually warms to him. Yoshinori finds he cannot stop thinking about her.
