About This Game

In an alternate Meiji era where a new law requires yokai to hold a license before living freely alongside humans, Sakamoto Ryunosuke returns to Kyoto from Shanghai with his yokai companion Nekomaru. The Kidou Shinsengumi Co. Ltd. handles enforcement — capturing unlicensed yokai — but their work is constantly opposed by the Tsubamegumi, a group that bitterly resents the law and everything it represents.
