A young wizard grew up far from his own kind, raised in a small village of magimanders — the last race of magical creatures, hidden at the base of an active volcano. As the wizard's skills grew stronger, so did the attacks from swamp slimes and quarry rockmen closing in on the village. The magimanders' survival depends on breaking the ancient magic stone barriers that seal off the wider world — but the only way to break them is to retrieve the wands held by four land demons. Beyond those demons lies the Volcano Dragon, and beyond the Volcano Dragon, perhaps a future for the magimanders at all.
