Rayman 3

Rayman 3

Released2003
Just like its Game Boy predecessors, Rayman 3 is mostly a traditional side-scrolling platformer. The main goal is to reach the end of a level, but there are various items to collect which all count towards the 100% completion. Some of those items can only be collected by re-visiting the level with additional abilities which are learned during the course of the game. Additionally there are two 3D mini games involving jet skiing and kart racing.

About This Game

A Black Lum named Andre—born of pure evil—begins recruiting Red Lums to his cause and transforming them, coating them in stolen animal hair to create an army of scarecrow-like Hoodlums. Murfy, a worker of the Fairy Council, stumbles across the conspiracy and is spotted. Chased to a forest clearing where Rayman and Globox lie sleeping, Murfy's arrival wakes Globox. While trying to help an unconscious Rayman escape, Globox accidentally pulls off his hands—leaving Murfy no choice but to grab Rayman by the hair and carry him away. Globox flees in the opposite direction, still clutching Rayman's missing hands, setting the stage for the adventure to come.
