In the Avenchurin Kingdom, Prince Legrand has been cursed into a deep sleep by a forbidden magic book. The succession test is one hundred days away. To lift the curse in time, a specially charged magic stone is required — one that selects its own wielders. The stone chooses Crim, an apprentice court magician, over the protests of her rival Richil. Six princes — of Water, Fire, Wind, Earth, Flowers, and Snow — are needed to power the stone. With the clock already running, Crim, the six princes, and the hundred-day deadline define the shape of everything that follows.
