About This Game

In 2008, a well-organized transnational criminal network escalating violence against civilians worldwide prompted a secret UN Security Council crisis summit in Moscow. The resulting response was SWAT: Global Strike Team—a multinational police force built on the principle that officers with local criminal knowledge from different countries can pool intelligence and expertise more effectively than any national force alone. The player is Mathias Kincaid, a former US Delta Force operator now commanding a GST element alongside sharpshooter Kana Lee and field technician Anthony "TJ" Jackson. Their first major operation targets two rival narco-terrorist organizations—the Omega Cartel and the Whispering Dragon Clan—fighting a bloody turf war over distribution of a designer drug called LD-50, or SPIKE, that has turned major cities across the US and Europe into combat zones.
