Super Mario: Blue Twilight
Super Mario: Blue Twilight is the lesser known first version of Super Mario: Blue Twilight DX. Released a year prior, this version is less polished, but carries most of the same ideas of its successor, also being a Halloween-themed Super Mario 2D platformer.
The game was lost up until 2025, when the creator, BlazeHedgehog, kindly uploaded it on the Internet Archive for preservation.

Mario and Peach have barely had time to catch their breath after defeating a powerful Dark Wizard before things go wrong again. Princess Peach is taken — but the creature responsible looks nothing like anything from Bowser's army. The source of the abduction is a mystery that adds a new dimension to what would otherwise be a familiar rescue mission. Mario sets out anyway.
