About This Game

Set during the Spring and Autumn period, The Millennial Destiny follows Che Yun, an orphaned girl from a family framed by a corrupt official and executed. Spared from death because of her age but not from punishment — her legs were amputated — Che Yun rebuilt herself through skill and determination. Her late grandfather had mastered Mujia, the art of crafting powerful mechanical constructs from magnets and lightweight wood, and she inherited both the talent and the drive. Using rare materials gathered through considerable effort, she built functional wooden prosthetic legs and eventually created Yunhu — a lifelike wooden fox capable of transportation and combat alike. Her closest companion was Huan Yuanzhi, whose life she once saved from drowning, who later helped her source the exotic components Yunhu required. Her path eventually crossed with Ying Shi — later revealed as the reincarnation of Che Yun herself from a different era, where she bore the name Murong Shi. With Che Yun as the connecting thread, Huan and Ying formed a reluctant alliance and traveled together, confronting two powerful forces: the Tai Chen Gong priest organization of the Jin Kingdom, and the Heralds of the Seven Luminaries, rebels sent back from a bleak future timeline using knowledge descended from the student of the then-deceased Spirit of the Vessel. The story's culmination brings all three to the deepest chamber of the Realm of Haotian, where the Wheel of Taiyi — the wheel governing destiny and the relationships between all things — resides. Huan and Murong faced an impossible conflict: each was bound by duty to set history on a different course in favor of their homeland. Che Yun ordered Yunhu to push Huan away and prevent him from changing the future. Huan struck back with the Xuan-Yuan Sword, accidentally wounding Che Yun fatally while repelling Yunhu. The gate closed. Murong was expelled. Huan and Che were left alone in a chamber where the ambient power rendered Huan immortal, and he mourned for a thousand years. At the moment of Che Yun's death, Murong inherited the knowledge of Mujia through their shared connection. When the gate opened again a millennium later, she re-entered — having returned to a future where Jin overcame Qin and chosen to fight for ordinary people — to find an aged and sorrowful Huan. She offered him what Che Yun would have: forgiveness, and acceptance.
