Donkey Kong Country 2

While Donkey Kong lounges on the beach ignoring Cranky Kong's complaints about the old days of heroism, Kaptain K. Rool strikes. The pirate king dispatches his Kremling crew aboard the airship The Flying Krock to kidnap Donkey Kong and hold him for ransom — the entire banana hoard in exchange. Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixie find DK missing and a ransom note in his place. Rather than hand over the hoard, Diddy insists they mount a rescue themselves. The two ride Enguarde the Swordfish to Crocodile Isle, the Kremlings' home territory, and push through a gauntlet of jungle pirates, haunted amusement parks, toxic swamps, and Kremling strongholds. Wrinkly, Funky, Swanky, and the ever-critical Cranky Kong provide support and commentary from various outposts along the way. At the top of it all, Kaptain K. Rool waits aboard The Flying Krock with Donkey Kong in chains.
