Miranda Village
A mod is based on the plot and characters of the popular short story "Aluka Miranda" in which the player takes on the role of a young and dreamy apprentice named Bernd. After a year of practice and experience, he returns to Miranda Village. He quickly realizes that life in the countryside flows differently than before. Now he must adapt to this new life while unraveling the dark secrets of an unknown mythology.
The game combines adventure elements with arcade elements and is full of puzzles to solve. All character development elements have been removed. The mod incorporates elements of a modern world and has nothing to do with the Gothic story.
The latest version of mod from 2019 offers several hours of gameplay and full polish voice over.

Bernd is an idealistic intern who has signed up to spend a year at Miranda Village, which presented itself in the brochure as a thoughtful alternative care facility. What he finds is a community of technology-averse spiritual practitioners who spend their days in esoteric contemplation and expect the intern to handle all the actual work. Leaving is not possible. The only way out is to work his way into the village's inner leadership circle — which brings him steadily closer to a secret nobody in the village has bothered to mention: every intern who came before him disappeared without explanation, and no one here seems troubled by this.
