About This Game

Mio and Mayu return to a forest clearing they used to play in as children, now scheduled to become a dam site. While Mayu chases a crimson butterfly into the deeper forest, she disappears. Mio follows — and both arrive in All God's Village, also called the Lost Village of Minakami, the site of a ritual that failed catastrophically. The village is trapped in perpetual night, doomed to relive the ritual's failure forever. The two sisters find the abandoned Camera Obscura inside one of the family houses and begin piecing together what happened, encountering the ghost of a woman who came to the village searching for her missing boyfriend and never left. The Director's Cut adds a new conclusion — the "Promise Ending" — accessible by completing the game on Nightmare difficulty.
