Hametsu no Mars

In 2016, a manned probe sent to investigate Mars breaks apart in Earth's atmosphere over Japan. Debris containing DNA traces from possible Martian life rains down and begins triggering mutations across the country. Those infected are called Iseki-jin — relic persons. The AAST responds by developing a powered suit called "Mars" in collaboration with Dr. Hiroshi Hyuga. The suit grants superhuman abilities, but only a handful of people are genetically compatible with it. Takeru, the doctor's son, is the first to successfully wear it. When a convoy transporting the original Mars fragments to a US laboratory is attacked by Iseki-jin, Takeru is dispatched to protect it and bring the incident to a close.
