Legend of Kay

Legend of Kay is set on the mythical island of Peng-Lai in the Chinese sea, where cats, gorillas, and many other animal peoples have coexisted for generations. Kay is a young cat training as a martial arts apprentice under his master's roof when Emperor Shun — ruler of the mighty gorillas — attacks without warning and drives the cat population from their township. Determined to protect his people, Kay sets out on a journey that takes him across the full breadth of Peng-Lai. With each step deeper into gorilla-held territory, the quest becomes more than revenge — buried beneath the island's landscape is a secret tied to the volcano fortress where Emperor Shun has made his seat of power.
