Gadget Trial

Released2006
In Gadget Trial, the player takes the role of guiding Type White throughout the course of the next generation mainstay weapons development trials known as 'Project Next-E'. The objective is to emerge from the trials victorious through winning the battle against your rivals, Type Black. The game itself is an 'active turn'-based tactical simulation. You will work your way through the stages by making the most of 15 different units, each of which possesses different capabilities. Personalised tactical decisions such as what type of units to produce, how many units to produce, and which facilities to occupy allow the player to enjoy a tactical simulation with simple rules but substantial depth.

About This Game

Several decades after the last world war, the Eastern Treaty Union in the Far East has launched Project Next-E: the development of next-generation Advanced Extripate Weapons (AEWs). The chosen form is the E-Series — an accelerated biological computer manifested as artificially created human-weapon hybrids, the smallest army ever assembled. Two design philosophies have produced two distinct lines: Type White and Type Black. The time has come for practical trials, with full military adoption on the line for whichever type proves superior.
