Brave Story: Wataru's Adventure

An eleven-year-old boy's life changes the day his friend Miki collapses from an unknown illness he has no way to treat. At his lowest point, a strange voice offers him something: "Beyond the door you can change your destiny." He steps through, leaving the real world behind for the world of Vision. As a novice Traveler, he must survive a series of trials in hopes of reaching the Goddess of Fortune — who can grant one wish to whoever makes it that far.
